Friendship Clinic Nepal
Clinic Nepal is a non-profit Aid organization committed to providing basic healthcare services in Meghauli, Chitwan, and throughout Nepal. Established in 1997 by Hari Bhandary, its mission is to improve access to healthcare, education, clean water, and sanitation for the people in the region.
The organization's primary service is a full-time medical clinic that provides general healthcare along with a variety of specialized treatments and programs. In addition to the clinic, mobile health camps are frequently deployed to extend medical support. Committed to nurturing the community from an early age, using kindergartens as a means of outreach, we offer a supportive environment for children who would otherwise lack access to education and a healthy environment.
A core aspect of Clinic Nepal’s mission is to empower the community toward self-reliance. The organization sponsors over 150 students in both academic and vocational fields, providing them with education and training opportunities. Additionally, Clinic Nepal has made a lasting impact in the region by installing clean water pumps and sanitary latrines and by conducting regular health camps. Clinic Nepal runs the Friendship Scout Troop, inspiring young people to take an active role in their community through leadership and volunteer opportunities.
The success of Clinic Nepal is that it started small, and continues to move small, like a drop of water, drop by drop, building a solid and prolonged foundation. It is through ideas, like environmental sustainability and nurturing sustainable social entrepreneurship, that Clinic Nepal has lasted for 30 years in a constantly changing world.
The organization relies on the generosity of sponsors, volunteers, interns, and supporters from around the world to sustain its vital work. Dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of the communities it serves, Clinic Nepal remains committed to delivering accessible healthcare, education, and clean water to those in need.
