Friendship Clinic
Hari’s dream of providing free Health Care to his community first came in the form of Mobile health camps. He and the staff would pack medical supplies on bikes and travel to the different locations throughout Meghauli and beyond to set up medical checkups. Construction on a more permanent home started around 1996. Friendship Clinic Nepal, was built in 1997 in Meghauli, as a day clinic dedicated to providing affordable healthcare services to the community. The clinic operates seven days a week from 9 AM to 5 PM, with specialized doctors, including dentists, orthopedic specialists, ENT doctors, surgeons, general physicians, ophthalmologists, and dermatologists, visiting on different days. The doctors come from the government hospitals in Bharatpur and are highly regarded in the healthcare sector.
The clinic offers basic laboratory services, including free uric acid and blood sugar tests every Monday. Each year, over 2,500 patients receive treatment at the clinic. Additionally, we organize free mobile health camps in remote districts and villages across Nepal, including areas in Chitwan, in collaboration with Metropolitan, District Public Health Office, and Army. These camps provide free medical check-ups, treatments, medicines, and health education to people of all ages.
In times of crisis, our emergency aid service delivers medical care, food, and clothing during natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, and landslides. We also offer financial assistance to those in need for essential treatments.
Understanding that not everyone can visit the clinic, we provide a home-based medical care service through our “Door-to-Door” project. This initiative supports palliative patients by offering wound care, stroke rehabilitation, medication delivery, and treatment for pressure sores.
Additionally, we work towards the improvement and support of government health posts to enhance primary healthcare facilities in rural areas. Through these efforts, Friendship Clinic Nepal continues to make a meaningful impact on healthcare accessibility and quality for underserved communities.

HEALTH CAMPS
Health camps play a critical role in the fabric of the Clinic Nepal story. As a continued instrument of care, they provide an outreach of support that is missing in the community. Mobile Health camps was how Clinic Nepal started, even before a physical clinic was built in 1997, and continues to this day as a means for change in the rural community.

Health Insurance
Clinic Nepal has initiated a community-based Nepal government health insurance policy to tackle major health challenges such as cancer, tuberculosis, hypertension, diabetes, and more. This program provides comprehensive healthcare coverage to numerous households, offering free access to medical treatment, medications, regular check-ups, and counseling services. Through this initiative, Clinic Nepal is committed to ensuring accessible and affordable healthcare for the community. This government health initiative is in its early stages, however, and there are limitations to coverage. Your donations help us to fill in the gaps for the most needy of our citizens.

Sponsored Medical procedures
Clinic Nepal has been dedicated to providing healthcare to those who cannot afford specialized medical care. Working in collaboration with other medical facilities, the clinic ensures efficient referrals and follow-up communication with specialists. It also offers subsidized care for patients living below the poverty line, particularly those facing accidents or emergency medical needs. Additionally, the clinic provides financial assistance to help cover transportation costs for patients requiring advanced medical interventions at other facilities.
